Vishnu, the preserver, forms the part of the trinity while the other two being Brahma and Shiva, respectively, as the creator and destroyer of the universe. It is believed that Vishnu is an eternal and universal spirit associated with the primeval waters that pervaded before the creation of the universe.

If ‘Dharma’ (righteousness) is disturbed, Vishnu descends to earth as an avatar (a human form) to fight the forces of evil. As god and in each of his avatars Vishnu plays the role of the preserver making the earth safe for his believers.
Simply dust the piece as needed.If you really want it to shine you can use a cotton cloth to buff the smooth surfaces which really makes it glisten.

Vishnu is regarded as a major god in Hinduism and Indian mythology. He is thought as the preserver of the universe while the two other major Hindu gods, Brahma and Shiva, are regarded respectively as the creator and destroyer of the universe. He is a generous God and known as being ‘Sattvaguna’ (kind and merciful). Vishnu is the only God of the Trimurti (triad) who is reborn whenever there is a crisis on earth.
